What makes a house a home? The family, friends and memories inside it—not just the furniture it’s filled with. So when Ashley HomeStore wanted us to create a holiday campaign with lots of style and flair, we proposed something more down to earth: find a family that’s typically apart during the holidays and bring them home to a newly furnished space. We found the Patricks.
After introducing the family—and their Bichon Frisé—to the brand’s fans on social media, we crowdsourced the decor makeover theme with an online vote and launched a contest for a $4,000 shopping spree at Ashley HomeStore. Entry was simple: post a photo on Instagram of your holiday moments using #AshleyHolidayContest. We leveraged the brand’s social, email and website to promote the contest.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, we refurnished the Patricks’ dining room and living room, and made one final delivery they’d never forget (HINT: watch the Big Reveal video). With everyone now under one roof, the family could celebrate together and make new memories in their newly styled home.
