Holidays are the time of year when people find comfort in family, friends and home. And for every heartwarming moment of the holidays, there are plenty of uncomfortable ones with the potential to ruin everything…like overcooking the holiday ham or finding yourself under the mistletoe with someone 3 times your age.
We explored these nuggets of awkwardness in a charming video series for Ashley HomeStore, dubbed “Uncomfortable Moments”. Illustrated by Charles Lehman and animated in-house, the videos featured Ashley furniture as the hero or in a subtle, supporting role, and demonstrated how the holidays more comfortable with Ashley HomeStore.
The whimsical, nostalgic content gave the brand a refreshingly light-hearted voice and helped it stand out in a season of sameness.
