Three years of supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County

Boys and Girls Club Monmouth County

When we opened our doors back in 2014, our daily commutes to NYC officially ended. So we set out to take a more active role in our community by offering pro bono work to local non-profits. One of those groups is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM). Located in Asbury Park and Red Bank, just down the road from our office, BGCM is an incredible organization that helps hundreds of at-risk kids every year, providing a safe haven for activities, mentoring and tutoring, plus healthy meals, summer camps and so much more.

For the past 3 years, we’ve collaborated with our friends at Grey Sky Films to produce videos that premiere at the Most Unusual Evening, a quirky themed party held at the famous Stone Pony in Asbury Park.

The goal of each video is to strike an emotional chord with guests and encourage them to make a donation during the event toward funding after-school programs. After the event, we recut the videos for other uses like organic content and social ads, and assist BGCM with funding, planning and buying social media placements. At the 2018 Most Unusual Evening, our “What You Pay For” video led to a record 85 kids being funded on the spot!

Recently, we were honored to receive BGCM’s Small Business Hero Award—and an official resolution from the New Jersey State Legislature—in recognition of our efforts.
